The ending left me wanting more, idk I just didn’t like the ending that much even though that kiss was amazing. They kept mentioning a plot twist so much that I thought it was going to be something epic, but all it was was whats her name getting knocked up by that one doctor guy. However, I loved that Gi Tae’s mom found her happiness in the end. Her husband’s family screwed her up so badly that it’s understandable why she acts the way she does. She’s the person I felt the most joy for in this episode and I’m so glad that her, Gi Tae’s grandma & aunt, and Jang Mi’s mom worked things out. This one of the less-buzzed drama when it began but ended with a bang.

Speaking of which, I am really enjoying this drama. I know this drama is already half finished, but I just remembered discussion posts! There wasn’t one for Marriage Contract so I made one.

I have to agree that the second leads (with the exception of Hoon Dong, he’s such dork) didn’t contribute as much as to the awesomeness of this series but the families made up for them esp GT’s mom. Yay, the three women being together forget dad, girl power FTW. The best dramas are ones that not only make you laugh and root for the characters, but make you feel something special, and I think I can confidently say that this show did that and did it well. After a successful surgery, Jang-mi’s dad cuts fruit for Mom and tells her his plan to open a pizza delivery place. She grouches that it’s not much better than chicken and lets him know that she still hates him, but she’s taking him back so as not to burden Jang-mi.
It’s a stunning but super sweet revelation for fans of the drama and the actors as they both confirmed they were in a relationship this week. The news has no doubt captured the attention of global fans, with many extending their congratulations to the pair, and even making adorable video edits of them as well. Congratulations to the lovely couple.
I’m excited for both of the leads and enjoyed them each immensely in this, but I’ve got to give extra props to Han Groo for being such a natural at the physical comedy. Anyway, they made a delightful OTP that I shall remember fondly for a long time. Their affection for each other is real and palpable and not just for show. Very rarely do I love a series all the way through but this definitely ranks up there as a show that’s perfect to binge-watch on a rainy day.

Han Groo is awesome, but in a totally different, Tarantino heroine kind of way. She was really underused in «Scandal,» but it seems like this show’s gonna be her new «Leading Lady» break out roll. She limps over to Ki-tae wearing only one shoe, and says she wants to call the whole thing off. He goes to get her a robe, but while he’s gone, Yeo-reum arrives like Prince Charming with her other shoe, and stoops down to put them both back on her feet. Still, Hyun-hee is flirting in her own way, and smiles when he buys a bunch of wallets to contribute to the charity auction.
Before, their quirks and hangups were holding them back, but they learned to take those qualities in themselves and use them in a positive way instead of letting the personality trait be in control. Absolved of guilt, Ki-tae asks what Jang-mi is hiding, and she tells him she only paid Yeo-reum for his part of the bar since he’s leaving. The busybody Gong ladies, who have been complaining about everything, now take offense that the family’s only heir is marrying a bar owner. Jang-mi’s mom hollers at them, “What’s wrong with a bar?!
Every episode the mom gets revealed more and more, and with each episode she seems more vulnerable. I highly suspect that mom does not really dislike JM – she is jealous how JM can be so free wheeling while she keeps everything bottled up for appearances sake. I love the pattern of the episodes, where they begin with an incident, and then backtrack to show us how they got there.
